Why are key-heating radiators invariably placed under windows. Surely the rut will escape through the glass?

First, the ascension warm air from the radiator would provide a barrier against the common cold, similar to a warm air blower in a shop doorway.   • I think having a radiator under the window is a silly identify to put information technology.
